Ball Joints

The small parts your steering rides on.

Overview

Ball Joints

Worn ball joints make a rig feel loose, wander, and wear tires unevenly. We install heavy-duty, greasable ball joints built to take the abuse of larger tires and off-road use.

Ball joints are small parts that carry a lot of load — and oversized tires and off-road use wear them out faster. Worn joints make a rig feel sloppy and can wear tires unevenly, so we install heavy-duty, serviceable units built to last.

Questions

Good to know

How do I know if my ball joints are worn?

Common signs are clunking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, and uneven tire wear. We can inspect them and tell you straight.

Are aftermarket ball joints worth it?

For a lifted or larger-tire rig, yes — heavy-duty greasable joints hold up far better than factory units under the extra load.

Should I replace all of them at once?

Usually it makes sense to do them in pairs or all together, especially on higher-mileage rigs, so you are not back in the shop soon after.
